Porto Cesareo <\/strong> (pronounce Porto Ces\u00e0reo, Cisaria in the local dialect) is an Italian town of 5,772 inhabitants in the province of Lecce in Puglia.
\nLocated on the Ionian coast of the Salento peninsula, it is 26.9 km from the provincial capital. It is an important tourist resort in Salento and is home to the Marine Protected Area and the Palude del Conte and Duna Costiera Regional Oriented Nature Reserve.<\/p>\n

It has an area of \u200b\u200b1000 hectares and is managed by the municipality of Porto Cesareo. It constitutes an element of continuity with the marine area. It can be divided into three areas:<\/p>\n
